Do you accept returns?

The Happy Lamp Company accepts returns. Please contact us at support@thehappylampcompany.com within 5 days of delivery if you need to return an item. All customers will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item, and original shipping costs are non-refundable.  All return items must arrive to us in perfect, unused condition and in their original packaging. If you are shipping an item over $65, you might want to consider getting tracking and insurance for your package.  We are not liable for damaged or lost items while being returned to us.  Any items that are damaged when we receive them will not be eligible for refund.  You will receive a store credit for your returned items and there will be a restocking fee of 30% on all items returned. All CUSTOM LAMPS ARE FINIAL SALE AND NON-REFUNDABLE due to the fact that they are uniquely made per order. 

Do you accept lampshade exchanges?

If you receive your lampshade and it is a different size than what you need, please contact us within 5 days of delivery at support@thehappylampcompany.com to inform us of your need for an exchange. All customers will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs to return the shades to our warehouse.  All shades must arrive in perfect, unused condition and in their original packaging.  We are not liable for damaged or lost items while being returned to us.  Please consider getting tracking to ensure the shades arrive at our warehouse.  Any items that are damaged when we receive them will NOT be eligible for a refund. Original shipping costs are non-refundable to the customer.  Customers will be invoiced or refunded for the difference in pricing upon receiving the lampshades.  Once paid, the new lampshades will be sent out.  

What happens if I have a damage and/or defective item?

Please note that all products are handcrafted, no two pieces are exactly alike.  These variations enhance the uniqueness and value of the product. In the event of damage and/or defective item, please contact us within 5 days from the date the product was delivered at support@thehappylampcompany.com. Please include pictures of the damage item and pictures of the shipping box.  If noted later than 5 days, the item will not be eligible for a refund.

When will I receive my credit?

We kindly ask that you allow 10 business days from the time we receive your return item, to process your return and credit your account.

Theft Policy

The Happy Lamp Company is not liable for any missing products during transit, or items misplaced upon delivery, this also includes theft.
